Riccardo Fusco new Mazzoli race team driver with BMW S1000R Powered FRK
8 – 10 April at the Italian Speed Championship, on the Misano Adriatico circuit, the Mazzoli race team lined up with its BMW S1000R 1000 Superstock class and, new this season, Riccardo Fusco, the new team driver, debuting at the wheel. The team was ecstatic on Sunday when he left the others behind after just a few laps, finishing eleventh and clocking his fastest lap at 1'39.506. He currently ranks second in the Under 24 category and, considering this was his first race with BMW, Riccardo Fusco is a promising addition to the Team.

THE POWER UNIT

POWER FRK, an add-on power unit designed to improve your motorbike’s performance, is the result of years of research and experiments involving over 100,000 km of road tests. Indeed, such experiments and tests are conducted still today, with a view to continuously improving the product.

The latest engine generations must meet very strict anti-pollution standards, resulting in unwanted power gaps. It is worth noting that the optimisation of fuel mixture and ignition is today defined on the basis of acoustic and exhaust emissions, and not of performance.

The POWER FRK add-on power unit adjusts the original fuel mixture as you open the throttle. The unit affects the fuel-air mixture ratio and the ignition timing, optimising their values to obtain a smoother engine output at every speed, correcting carburetion gaps and gaining torque and power.

The POWER FRK unit comes as a response to demanding motorcycle owners and has been designed to be easy to set up. on BMW motorbike (up 2001) Triumph Speed Triple 1050cc, Tiger 1050cc e Sprint ST 1050cc, Honda ( Euro 3) KTM 690 e 990 ( Euro 3) Kawasaki Z750, Z1000, Suzuki GSX R 1000 and Yamaha R1, R6, XT600, T-max, X-max e Majestic.

The unit can be removed in a few minutes to set the motorcycle back to its original state.
